Including himself and his 2 sons (sans and papyrus). Gaster took their soul and extracted it’s lust, distributing it to all the monsters of age in the UNDERGROUND in hopes of baring more children.
Gaster had a strange idea and for the most part, it kind of worked. This was when fuel was poured even more onto the fire. With this human's death, the soul was now for the monster's taking and thus, it went to the scientist. They killed monsters for their own pleasure and were eventually stopped. This human was called Chara and they were not nice.
If the royal family, Boss Monsters no less, were unsuccessful in giving life then what hope was there? It was up to the lead royal scientist to come up with a solution. Then a human fell down.and that's when things changed. Unfortunately, the child was stillborn, turning to dust seconds after birth. For any race, this is a HUGE problem! Things came to a painful point when King and Queen Dreemurr were expecting the birth of their first child. For some reason, the monster population was stagnate, hardly any new births were happening.
